Michael Spain-Smith is one of the East Coast’s top advertising and editorial photographers. His work has appeared in numerous publications and advertising campaigns, both in the US and in Europe.
A Philadelphia native, Michael has one of the largest daylight facilities in Philadelphia. With offices in Philadelphia, New York, Miami and DC, Michael is available for work on location in and around these metropolitan cities.
Michael’s work covers a wide range of subjects, including people, products and lifestyle, with vibrant color and emotion having a consistent presence in his images. He gains inspiration from his extensive travels, and his favorites are still the scintillation of Paris and spirituality of the African wild.
Spain-Smith resides in Philadelphia with his wife. His hobbies, when he isn’t behind the camera, include motorcycles, traveling and entertaining.
Michael Spain-Smith Shoots for "The Kandy Project" ... an exciting story about a woman and twenty one photographers.
The work reflects the tremendous passion by all involved to create an unbelievable collection of photography.
Three shows. The exhibit opens July 8th at Lemeria Gallery in Manayunk, showing till July 16th. Next at Sande Webster Gallery in Center City from September 5 through September 27th. Finally at Jane & Bert Gallery in Old City from November 3rd through November 30th.
